The TIMERAISER is part volunteer fair, part silent art auction, part night on the town!  The event connects nonprofits with a talent pool of skilled volunteers and encourages them to bid hours, instead of dollars, on work purchased from Canadian artists. Art winners have 12 months to complete your pledge before bringing the artwork home as a reminder of your goodwill.

Find out more about how the Timeraiser program works through this video:
While the doors of the Regina Timeraiser are opening at 6:30 pm you can start your bidding a little early by listening in to The Afternoon Edition with host Craig Lederhouse tomorrow between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm on CBC Radio One.  (102.5 FM in Regina, and 94.1 FM in Saskatoon, 540 AM across the province.)
Craig will be giving listeners a preview about some of the volunteer opportunities available with the non-profits in this year's event and auctioning off Ken Dalgarno's piece, "Dispossessed".

Ken's piece is one of the many great piece being featured at the event. To see all the pieces that are up for bid, visit the Timeraiser's Facebook page
For your chance to win please tune in to CBC Radio One between 4 pm and 6 PM (CST) on Thursday, May 23.  A minimum of 10 hours will start the bidding and the highest bid will win at 6 PM!  You can call in, tweet in, or enter your bid online at http://www.cbc.ca/afternoonedition/ starting at 4 PM.  If you are not the highest bidder, you are not obligated to fulfill the time you pledged, though we would encourage you to do so.  If you don't win this piece on The Afternoon Edition, join us for the Timeraiser that night for more pieces to win, and say hello in person to event host, Craig Lederhouse!
Tickets for the event are just $10 (tax included) and can be purchased here
