Celebrate National Aboriginal Day at Wanuskewin Heritage Park - June 20 & 21

Wanuskewin Heritage Park in Saskatoon celebrates it's 20th anniversary with a special National Aboriginal Day Pow Wow on June 20 & 21.

Take in the sights and sounds of the Pow Wow, check out the trade show booths and get some tasty treats from a variety of food vendors. 

Tune in to CBC Radio One's The Morning Edition (6 to 8:30 am), Blue Sky (12 noon to 1 pm), The Afternoon Edition (4 to 6 pm) and television's CBC News: Saskatchewan at 5, 5:30 & 6 for updates and coverage of the day's celebrations on June 21. 

Be sure to drop by and meet CBC hosts and personalities at the CBC Kids Activity Tents and take in these fun activities!  

  • Bison Robe Area:  Storytelling, reading and a few minutes of quiet time!
  • Traditional Crafts: Kite making, dream catchers and colouring area.
  •  Traditional Games: Big and small, you'll have fun playing Feather Toss, Spear Toss, Moccasin Games and more)
