McGee Maddox - First Soloist, "Romeo"

McGee Maddox was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and trained at Houston Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy, joining Houston Ballet as an Apprentice in 2005. In 2009, he joined The National Ballet of Canada and was promoted to First Soloist in 2011.

Maddox has danced in Onegin, Swan Lake, The Four Temperaments, Cinderella, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Serenade, The Sleeping Beauty, The Four Seasons, West Side Story Suite, Glass Pieces and Emergence.

Maddox performed in the company premieres of Chroma and Russian Seasons. He danced the lead role of Jack/The Knave of Hearts in the North American premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
