Naoya Ebe was born in Tokyo, Japan and trained at Canada's National Ballet School. He joined The National Ballet of Canada in 2006 and was promoted to Second Soloist in 2011.
Ebe has danced in The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Giselle,Onegin,Don Quixote,The Taming of the Shrew, The Four Temperaments, Opus 19/The Dreamer,Glass Pieces,The Four Seasons and Elite Syncopations.
Ebe performed in the world premieres of Pur ti Miro, Watch her and Emergence as well as the company premieres of Russian Seasons and West Side Story Suite. He also danced in the North American premiere of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
In 2011, Ebe represented the National Ballet in The Ninth International Competition for The Erik Bruhn Prize with Shino Mori.
