Peter Gzowski (CBC Still Photo Collection)
An hour of music from the program Morningside with Peter Gzowski. Morningside aired stories from across Canada, talked to prime ministers and premiers, economists and politicians. But there was always room for music- whether it was recorded, live or a conversation with a musician. In the winter of 1991 the show hosted a hootenanny- a live sing- a- long of favourite songs with five of the best folk musicians in the country. It was so successful that the following fall they did it again.

The performers in this hour were Colleen Peterson, Valdy, Ken Whiteley, Joan Besen and Leon Dubinsky
