Mordecai Richler- Part Three

The third and final program in our series about the writer Mordecai Richler.

In 1999, at the age of 68, Richler was Canada's grand old man of fiction and writing. His last novel, Barney's Version, which came out in 1997, revolved around an aging writer obsessed with his failures, his estranged wife, and his failing body. It has been hailed as Richler's finest work. Here about that and more on this show.
