In London to cover the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, CBC News chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge sat down with Prime Minister Stephen Harper earlier today for an exclusive-to-CBC News interview.
The interview airs tonight, June 5, on THE NATIONAL, 10 p.m. (10:30 NT) on CBC-TV and 9, 10 and 11 p.m. ET/PT on CBC News Network.
Prime Minister Harper makes his strongest comments to date on the European debt crisis and its impact on the global economy, including Canada's:
"I don't want to sound too alarmist, but we are kind of running out of runway here," Harper tells Mansbridge.
The Prime Minister also reveals what worries him the most and what advice he has for Canadians saving for their retirement.
