Over 40 different music streams now available at cbcmusic.ca
CBC Music is pleased to announce the addition of two new web radio stations -Canadian Roots and Classic Soul/R&B - to its already stellar lineup of free music streams available on cbcmusic.ca. The new channels will be available today, July 10.
"The wonderful thing about music is the incredible diversity of genres that people love," said Chris Boyce, executive director, radio and audio. "And the wonderful thing about CBC Music is the fact that we can easily provide new dedicated web radio stations to meet their desires, which is exactly what we're doing with the addition of these two new free channels."
Canadian Roots offers the music that started it all: Roots and Folk from great Canadians such as Gordon Lightfoot to Old Man Luedecke to the Wailin' Jennys and Jenn Grant.
Classic Soul/R&B is a real soul train, making stops at the classics and newer soul destinations. Hop on for The O'Jays, Motherload, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin--along with the newer soul of Sharron Jones, Jacksoul, Jarvis Church and Nicole Willis just to keep it fresh.
