Debate coverage begins with POWER & POLITICS WITH EVAN SOLOMON at 5 p.m. ET
CBC News Network has live coverage tonight of the U.S. Vice-Presidential Debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Republican challenger Paul Ryan. Coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET on CBC News Network and CBCNews.ca, where the debate streams live, and is hosted by Evan Solomon. Canadians can join the conversation, with featured comments on-screen and a live online chat during the debate, hosted at CBCNews.ca/usdebates. Following the debate, The National with Peter Mansbridge will feature a round-up and look at the key points made by each candidate. The National airs at 10 p.m./10:30 NT on CBC-TV and at 11 p.m. ET/PT on CBC News Network.
Canadians can join the conversation by adding #PnPCBC to their tweets, which will be displayed across the bottom of the screen during the debate. Coverage will continue afterwards with analysis from Solomon, CBC News political reporter Susan Bonner, and CBC's national affairs editor Chris Hall.
