Expanding to a full year with 24 episodes, MARKETPLACE is back for its 40th season, digging deep into slick scams, misleading claims and maddening customer service, putting the products Canadians use daily under the microscope.

Canada's #1 investigative consumer show, and the 2011 Gemini Award winner for Best News Information Series, MARKETPLACE uses investigative reporting, independent testing and, where warranted, hidden cameras to create a unique programmingstamp. Last season an average of 1.136 million Canadians tuned in each week to see its extensive consumer investigations put companies under the microscope with a call to action to implement change, often causing government departments to re-examine their policies and regulations.
