CBC Sports Weekend is an exciting and fast-paced sports program with an all-live format focusing specifically on amateur sport. It aims to showcase Canadian athletes; depicting what it's like to be a Canadian star on the rise, or a world champion defending his or her crown.
CBC Sports Weekend is the only network program dedicated to Canadian amateur sport and elite athletes and is hosted by Scott Russell, Brenda Irving, Steve Armitage and other CBC Sports personalities throughout the year.
