CBC named one of Strategy Magazine's Brands of the Year

Strategy Magazine, one of Canada's leading marketing media voices, has named CBC as one of their "Brands of the Year" in their October issue.

"It's an honour to be singled out as a modern media company in Canada and be named one of Strategy's Brands of the Year," said Kirstine Stewart, Executive Vice-President, CBC English Services. "After a very challenging year for CBC, to be recognized in this way is a wonderful tribute to the commitment of our people, world class content and loyal partners."

Each year, Strategy Magazine identifies the top brands in Canada whose marketing efforts broke through to create deep connections, a clearly-defined persona and culminated in top-of-mind status with the Brand of the Year awards.
