Kelowna mayor renews call for second bridge

Right now there is only one route between Kelowna, West Kelowna and points beyond. That's Highway 97 and the Bennett Bridge that goes over Okanagan Lake.

But for decades local leaders have been pleading with the province to fund a second crossing.
So far, those pleas have gone unanswered.

But yesterday, Kelowna mayor Walter Gray, is renewing the call for another way to get across the water.

He dropped the Radio West studio and told guest host Kathryn Marlow all about why he thinks the project should be a top priority.
