Penticton Vees two wins away from National Championship

The Penticton Vees have had a record setting year. They set a junior hockey record during the regular season with 42 consecutive wins. They set a BCHL record with 54 wins in a season. But at the Royal Bank Cup - Canada's Junior 'A' championship- the Vees lost their first two games. Then they rebounded with two come-from-behind wins. Those victories earned them a spot in Saturday's semi-final. If they win that game, they get to play for the national Junior A championship on Sunday. Guest host Kathryn Marlow spoke with the team's long time colour commentator, Al Formo. We reached him at the Royal Bank Cup in Humboltd, Saskatchewan.
