Questions around Lemon Creek cleanup
It has been two weeks since a tanker truck owned by Executive Flight Center crashed in the Slocan Valley. It dumped 33 thousand litres of jet juel into Lemon Creek. The company is now scaling back its cleanup efforts, leaving some members of the surrounding community saying they are being left behind. Shael Gelfand is the Vice-President of Peak Communicators. The company has been hired by Executive Flight Center to handle public relations. Gelfand responded to concerns made by the former Lemon Creek Response Team community liaison, John Wittmayer.
