The Dish: Peaches

It's peach season! Rebecca spoke with Kelowna peach farmer Robyn King of Bite Me Organics.

Robyn's Recipe for freezable peach pie filling:
Peel and slice 5 cups of peaches
Toss in lemon juice
Mix together 1/2 cup of sugar, 3 tbsp flour, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, a pinch of salt
Add mixture to peaches
Cook, topped with crumble, at your leisure

Crumble Recipe for a 9 inch pastry shell
1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 butter

Fill shell with pie filling, top with crumble and bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
