How long should a senior be allowed to drive?

New research suggests that seniors grow more timid as they age, which could mean they drive less and lose their skills faster. The findings come from a research team spanning three Canadian universities that is studying how keep seniors safer on the roads. (iStock)

It's often difficult for an elderly person to give up his or her license. But now, a team of Canadian researchers is trying to find better ways to assess how long seniors should be on the road. Rebecca spoke with Brenda Vrkljan who is leading the study.
