Wine for beer drinkers
Our wine columnist Jeannette Montgomery says the art of beer drinking is becoming more and more like wine drinking. She shared her tips for how to get into wine if you generally stick to beer.

If you like a pale lager, try a pinot blanc or an unoaked chardonnay.
If you like pale ales, try a riesling or a sauvignon blanc.
If you like brown ales, try a pinot noir or a cabernet franc.
If you like stouts and porters, try a meritage/red blend or a fortified/port-style.
