Coastal First Nations hopes to use money from selling carbon offset credits to help protect the Great Bear Rainforest. (Garth Lenz and Lighthawk)
In 2006, First Nations and the B.C. government reached an historic agreement to protect the Great Bear Rainforest-- that's the term used to describe rainforest along the North and Central coast.

Coastal First Nations is an umbrella organization for aboriginal groups along the coast. The group's executive director, Art Sterritt, explained their plans to guest host, Katrhyn Marlow.
