Crossroads detox centre shutting down
After 37 years, Crossroads Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centre is shutting down. It's the only comprehensive addiction treatment centre in the Okanagan, where clients can detox, recover and get addictions counselling. Even so, the centre is drowning in debt, owing lenders more than 1.3 million dollars. Shelley Gilmore is its executive director. She spoke with Rebecca:
