Regional district's take on Jumbo

The Jumbo Glacier ski resort project in southeastern B.C. would sit on an old sawmill site, and visitors would be shuttled to ski and snowboard on four nearby glaciers in the Purcell mountains. (CBC)

The Regional District of East Kootenay decided a few years ago to let the province handle decisions on Jumbo. But after yesterday's creation of the resort municipality, many in the Kootenays wondered where their local government was in the decision. Rebecca spoke with district chair Rob Gay to find out.
