Fracking draws First Nation concerns

First Nations in Northern BC haven't been shy about their feelings on fracking.

They're worried.

And those concerns are front and centre at the 6th annual Keepers of the Water conference.

It takes place Sept. 26 to Sept. 29 and brings together First Nations, scientists, activists and industry representatives and is hosted by the Fort Nelson First Nation.

Lana Lowe is the conference co-ordinator and the lands director for the Fort Nelson First Nation. She spoke with Rebecca about half an hour before the conference's opening ceremony.
