A legislative committee has released its report into BC's mid-term timber supply (the timber available for harvest in 20 to 60 years). It has been severely impacted by the mountain pine beetle, and the committee has recommendations on how to make the most of what's left.
Norm Macdonald is the committee's deputy chair. He's also the NDP forests critic, and the MLA for Columbia River-Revelstoke. He spoke with Rebecca about the recommendations.
