HBC Film Discovered 50 Years Later

A film made by the Hudson's Bay Company to mark its 250th anniversary has been discovered, and re-released, 50 years after it was made. The Romance of the Far Fur Country was a silent film of Canada's North, but it disappeared not long after it debuted in 1920. Historian Peter Geller found it, and told Rebecca all about it.
