Rebecca Zandbergen: duck rescuer
Rebecca Zandbergen found a distressed mother duck on Springfield Road in Kelowna on Thursday evening.
One by one, her babies had fallen through a sewer grate, tweeting and swimming in circles below.
The mother paced anxiously on top of the grate.
After various calls to emergency departments, Chris from the City of Kelowna's sewer department arrived.
He fished the little guys out.
