Politicians and Twitter

These days constituents are interacting with politicians more directly than ever before. Twitter has opened up the lines of direct and often immediate communication. But one member of Parliament is calling it quits on Twitter. Last night, Timmins-James Bay NDP MP Charlie Angus sent his final tweet. He wrote about that decision in the Huffington Post. Here's Rebecca's conversation with Charlie Angus.

After that conversation, we wanted to hear what other politicians thought of Twitter. Rebecca had a conversation with Nathan Cullen, the NDP MP for Skeena-Bulkley Valley. She also got Bob Simpson on the line. He is BC's Independent MLA for Cariboo North.
