Ottawa introduces new legislation on elder abuse
The Conservative government is making good on an election promise to crack down on elder abuse. This morning, Justice Minister Rob Nicholson announced new legislation to protect Canadian seniors. Martha Jane Lewis is a lawyer and the Executive Director of the BC Centre for Elder Advocacy Support. She spoke with Rebecca about the new legislation.
