BC's Deer Problem
The controversy around deer culls is not going away. Cranbrook and Kimberely have both culled deer in recent months. Invermere is in the middle of its cull. But the protests there have become so confrontational that the RCMP has recommended charges of mischief and disturbing the peace. Biologist Jeff Morgan is the province's lead on urban deer, and explained how deer became such a problem.
