Some stay-at-home moms are trading in their aprons for screwdrivers and hammers. The women are part of a 12-week training course at Okanagan College. It's called the Women's Trades Training Initiative. The women are learning about everything from carpentry to plumbing to drywalling. This week, the Vernon class is in Kelowna, getting a taste of the culinary arts program. Rebecca caught up with one of the participants to find out why she's considering the Trades.
