Tracking food prices - The price of gasoline jumped about five cents overnight, pushing up the price of a litre of unleaded gas up to $1.40 on the Avalon Peninsula. NDP MHA George Murphy tracked gas prices long before he was elected to politics. Now he's planning to start tracking the cost of certain foods as well. He's calling it the "O-PEC basket." George Murphy is here in the studio.
