Tourism cuts
The fallout from the provincial budget continues, leaving reduced staff at ten provincial parks and reserves. Tourism operator Jean Knowles of Eastern Edge Adventures has been hearing from the visitors to the sites.

No visas for African choirs
The Polokwane Chorale Society from South Africa were supposed to return to St. John’s for Festival 500, but problems with visas have kept them grounded in their home country. Matlakala Bopape is the director of the choir.
