Japan Quake / Melissa Lane
Japan is reeling from the terrible earthquake and Tsunami that hit the North East coast .
It started Friday afternoon local time, the largest earthquake ever recorded in Japan: magnitude 8 point 9.
It’s now after midnight in Japan but reports of devastation are still pouring in.
Hundreds of people are confirmed dead; Tens of thousands are missing.
Homes, cars, boats have been swept away.
There’s even a report of a missing passenger train.
An oil refinery is on fire and there’s a state of emergeny at a nuclear power plant.
4 million people are estimated to be without power in and around Tokyo.
