Crosstalk: When it comes to sports for children, there's a move afoot to take out the emphasis on winning tournaments. The idea is that more young people will get active if the focus is on fun. So scores won't matter for younger players, and tournaments will be called "festivals" instead. Our question: Should we make children's sports non-competitive?
