Mourners said goodbye to Stephanie Chaisson at her funeral in Stephenville on Saturday. Father Boland is the parish priest for our Lady of the Cape Roman Catholic parish. We reached him in Corner Brook.

A polar bear paid a visit to the community of Newtown, Bonavista Bay. Terry Rideout got a good look at the bear. We reached him by phone.
