Public sector protest against cuts:  Thousands of public sector employees who work for the federal government are taking part in a national day of actioN.  They're protesting against the Conservative government's plan to make budget cuts cuts that will affect them. The CBC's Maggie Gillis spoke with workers at a protest in St. John's.

Leap day babyHis name is Gordon Snow-Benoit, and he's just arrived in this world.  The proud parents are Beth Snow and Devon Benoit of Stephenville.  There's something unusual about their little boy:  He's not going to have a birthday until the next leap year in four years!
