People are grieving today in West. St. Modeste. Last night, a pick up truck hit two women as they were crossing the road. It happened at around 10 o'clock on a foggy and very dark evening. A 71-year-old woman is dead. A 73-year-old woman has been flown to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's. Agnes Pike is the mayor of West St. Modeste, and for her the tragedy has hit way too close to home.
