Radio Noon - Grand River Keeper on the report on the proposed Lower Churchill hydro development.

The panel that reviewed the proposed hydro-electric projects for the Lower Churchill has come up with criticism after criticism. The panel says some of the analysis Nalcor did needs a lot more work. Including the assertion that Muskrat Falls is the best way, and the least expensive way to get more electricity to the island. The panel says that analysis is inadequate. It also says the project would harm fish habitat, wetlands and and the Red Wine caribou herd. As well as having significant adverse effects on culture and heritage in Labrador. Roberta Frampton Benefiel speaks for the group, Grand River Keeper.
