Moose Plan
The provincial government just released its plan to reduce the number of moose-vehicle accidents. $5 million dollars will be spent on a variety of initiatives.
They include:
- a 15-kilometre test section of wildlife fencing;
- a wildlife detection system;
- and a new GPS Collision Data Management System
For his reaction to this initiatives, we've reached Eugene Nippard at his home in Grand Falls-Windsor. He's the founder and past-president of the Save Our People Action Committee.
