Harper Archive FTR

Prime Minister Stephen Harper may not think there's much need for the Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre anymore. But a few years back he was singing a different tune. Back in December of 2007 - Harper had nothing but praise for fishermen and the people charged with saving their lives when things go wrong. He was in Port de Grave back then to pay tribute to the crew of the Nautical Legacy, and the rescuers who saved their lives. Here's part of what the Prime Minister said in 2007.
