Bear Put Down

A couple of weeks ago, everyone was talking about the cute and people-friendly bear cub in Terra Nova National Park that walked right up to a police officer. Visitors to the park had been feeding the cub, along with other bears. Park officials moved the cub to a remote area, hoping it would remember how to live in the wild again. But that wasn't the case. On the weekend, Fisheries and Wildlife officers euthanized the little bear. Bill Brake is the Field Unit Superintendent in Terra Nova.
