Armand Mackenzie head of the Innu Council of Nitassinan

armand-mackenzie.jpgThe big question today is whether the only Conservative M-P to win a seat in Nfld and Labrador will become the province's next cabinet representative. That would be a landmark decision. Peter Penashue is already making history as the first Innu person to become an M-P. But he wasn't the only Innu person elected to parliament last night.
Jonathan Genest-Jourdain took the Manicougan seat for the NDP.
Armand Mackenzie heads up the Innu Council of Nitassinan.
And he's a negotiator for the Quebec Innu on land claims.
We've got him on the line from Sept Iles, Quebec.
