Susan Sullivan, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Dev't - High-speed internet service
A couple of days ago on Crosstalk, we heard from caller after caller who still doesn't have high-speed internet service.
People on the south coast of Labrador, as well as in Mud Lake.
And people on the Northern Peninsula, and the south coast of the island, and near Lewisporte, and even on the Avalon Peninsula not too far from St. John's.
They said using dial-up internet is more than an inconvenience.
That it has an impact on businesses, on tourism. And even on simple necessities, like trying to book an airline ticket.
So will we ever have access to high-speed internet for every household in Nfld and Labrador?
Susan Sullivan is the provincial minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development.
