Detective Paul Krawczwk (CROFF-check) Child Exploitation Section, Sex Crimes Unit, Toronto Police Service

Robin Barrett.jpg In December 2009, the police raided Anglican priest Robin Barrett’s House in Conception Bay South looking for child pornography. No one could have been prepared for what they found: Over 30-thousand pictures and 34-hundred videos.
The youngest children in the images were only 6 months old. And of the 25 children who were being abused, 22 were right here in North America.
Barrett pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to two and a half years in jail. But when he was first arrested, the police had no idea that it would lead to a year-long international investigation called “Project Sanctuary”.
