Should all cell phone use be banned while driving?
The National Transportation Safety Board in the U.S. recommends all cell phone use, including hands-free devices, should be banned for drivers.
We ask Quebecers if they agree. We hear from Jean-Marie de Koninck with Quebec's provincial task force on road safety, the owner of Wendy's Driving School, the head of a small trucking company on the South Shore as well as a representative of the Quebec Automobile Association.
Our callers weigh in: one admits to being in an accident while using his cell phone; another has a simulator company where you can assess distraction levels; we also hear from a customer of adapted transit who says many times she has watched as her driver talked on a cell phone.
