
Rich Terfry
Born in rural Mount Uniake outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Rich Terfry has taken the music world by storm, releasing 17 albums to international critical acclaim under the stage name Buck 65.
Terfry brings his ear for Canadian talent as well as the brightest up and coming talent to the new afternoon show RADIO 2 DRIVE, airing weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A fan of all musical genres, Terfry has been influenced by a variety of artists, including Afrika Bambaataa, Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen, Captain Beefheart, Skip James, Johnny Cash, Iggy Pop, and Radiohead. From 2003-2006, Terfry enjoyed a run of success at the Juno Awards, nominated four times in three categories and winning twice.
While studying biology in university, he hosted his own radio show and recently guest- hosted on CBC Radio 3. After spending time in Paris, London and New York, Terfry now makes his home in Toronto. Besides his passion for music, Terfry is a film enthusiast and plays semi-professional baseball.
