The Saddest Music In The World?

N89327330178 3379If you've been listening to the Strombo Show, you may have heard some of the saddest music in the world. Not to say George's taste in music is shabby, no no. Just that he's been holding a "sad-off," asking for the saddest songs you can think of. Fans on The Strombo Show Facebook page have had some sad suggestions:

The Cure, Pictures of You
Johnny Cash, Hurt
Sisters of Mercy, Alice
Gordon Lightfoot, Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
Jason Collet, We All Lose One Another

...and so on. But my favourite suggestion, from a fan named Fabian, goes like this:

"The one with the cat and the mouse outside on a cold Christmas eve and the cat dies at the end when he let the mouse take shelter under his fur. Can't remember the name or artist. Please help!!"

When I last looked no one helped out Fabian on Facebook. Maybe you can? Or possibly just contribute to the Sad-Off yourself.
