GCSQ: Ep. 9 - Songs From The Listeners
November 23, 2009
It's probably safe to say that all of our commissioned singer songwriters could not have made it where they are today without the help of some kind of teacher. So this week, we've dedicated the podcast to these fine folks! We'll hear from teachers from Kemptville and Collingwood, Ontario whose students blogged about their towns for the Song Quest. We'll also hear from songwriting instructor Scott McGill about his students Kira Carroll and Kadon Ricord's song "My Country Is Canada." Finally, music and English teacher Lauren Simmons presents ten tips for getting your teen into Canadian music! Sound effects from Freesound.org contributor vtkproductions.com.
