Canada's Music FutureYour introduction to some of Canada's best up and coming musical talent:CBC Radio 2 is putting the spotlight on Canada's emerging musical talent! "Next! Canada's Music Future" is a series that showcases artists, ensembles and bands that are on the verge of becoming national names on the music scene. Beginning February 5, 2010 at 7pm (7:30 NT), Canada Live will present several artists every week from a number of genres including jazz, roots, singer/songwriter, world and blues. The performances will introduce these musicians to a national audience. Throughout the 10 weeks, Canada Live will feature acts from coast to coast to coast with many stops in between. On Sundays starting February 5, 2010, In Concert, heard at 11:00 AM (1:30 NT) presents a weekly live performance featuring an emerging classical musician. In addition, In Concert will take listeners behind the scenes with documentary portraits. These interviews reveal dreams and aspirations of these brilliant young artists.
