The Good Lovelies are making folk music a little more fun for everyone. Their perfect three-part harmony tunes are just as entertaining as their witty stage banter. Trust us, we could barely keep a straight face during this recording.
Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough and Sue Passmore, of The Good Lovelies, are best friends first, and Juno Award winning musicians second. Their story is a riches to rags one, where they quit their jobs to pursue life on the road as full time musicians. It's a labour of love that shines through in their on-stage charisma.
The majority of the songs featured in this concert are from their latest critically acclaimed album "Let The Rain Fall". This was one of their last stops in Canada before embarking on their first Australian tour, and they brought along one of Ontario's most in demand bassists Ben Whiteley (or who they like to call "Bennie").
