It was like a scene from a movie. Across the shimmering bay, a full moon rose over the majestic peaks of Gros Morne and lit a path to the open doors of the historic Heritage Theatre in Woody Point. On stage, Newfoundland's most exciting and musically inventive band, Hey Rosetta!, were blowing out the jams.
The standing room only crowd sweltered, sang, clapped and danced in the hot August air as the band rolled through an explosive acoustic set, playing music from their Polaris Music Prize short-listed album, Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and on through your blood).
It was magic.
